- Many patients will not have specific symptoms. Most patients referred to Mr Jordan have previously been investigated by their GP, respiratory physician, oncologist or other surgical teams.
Background
He was appointed to the position of Consultant Thoracic Surgeon in 2006 and is clinical lead for the Cancer Services Team.
Training
After completing his undergraduate training in Wales, he trained in general thoracic surgery at The Royal Brompton, St. Bartholomew’s and The London Chest Hospitals in London. He has also spent time training in Belfast, Bristol and Leeds. He was awarded his MD by the University of London for research that he undertook at Imperial College investigating the inflammatory response of the lung in response to major chest surgery.
