Background

Qualified from University College Hospital (MB BS) in 1988. He was awarded MRCP in 1991 and was appointed Consultant Gastroenterologist with a special interest in colonoscopy in 1997 at St. Mark’s Hospital London, a Tertiary Hospital for complex bowel disorders. He was awarded FRCP in 2002 and an honorary FRCS in 2016. He is Director of Bowel Cancer Screening for North West London and an active member of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Training

  • Trained in general medicine and gastroenterology at the Darlington Memorial Hospital, Lewisham Hospital and Guy’s Hospital London and in colonoscopy at St. Mark’s Hospital.
